Held at the Princeton Public Library, Soundtracks is a five-lecture series that provides insights about what goes into “orchestrating” a concert by a professional symphony. The series delves into diverse and fascinating topics, including background on the music that the PSO performs, concert themes, and what happens behind the scenes at the PSO: everything from who chooses the music, to how individual musicians and sections shape the sound of the orchestra, to the stories behind the beautiful instruments owned by orchestra members. All are welcome at these free events and light refreshments are served.
