Violin I

Violinist LINDA HOWARD has been a member of the Princeton Symphony and Princeton Pro-Musica Chamber Orchestra since 1998. She has also performed with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and Riverside Symphonia. She has enjoyed touring with Broadway shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, Westside Story, and others. She also performs with the trio Music for the Moment.

Before moving to New Jersey, Linda enjoyed an active teaching schedule at the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory, the Huntington Music Academy on Long Island, the Riverdale YMHA in the Bronx, and public schools in Manhattan and Queens. After serving on the faculty of several schools in New Jersey including the Paramus Community School, Morristown-Beard School, Wharton Music Center, and the Eastern Music School, Linda became the strings teacher at Johnson Park Elementary school in Princeton in 2019. 

She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s Conservatory of Music with bachelor and masters degrees in violin performance. When she is not teaching or performing, Linda enjoys sailing in weekly races on her single-handed racing boat, the Force 5.
