Exciting young violinist and 2015 Avery Fisher Career Grant winner Simone Porter delivers drama and technical fireworks in Tchaikovsky’s popular Violin Concerto.

Violinist Simone Porter has been recognized as an emerging artist of impassioned energy, interpretive integrity, and vibrant communication. She has debuted with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic; and worked with renowned conductors, including Gustavo Dudamel, Charles Dutoit, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Nicholas McGegan, Ludovic Morlot, and Donald Runnicles. She studied at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, and in March 2015, was named a recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant.
