PHYLLIS BITOW has played principal percussion with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra since 1987. She is also a member of Riverside Symphonia and New Jersey Capital Philharmonic. Other groups she performs with include Princeton Pro Musica, Solid Brass, Kennett Symphony, and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Phyllis played extra percussion with the Philadelphia Orchestra for four years and played with the NJ State Opera under Maestro Alfredo Silipigni for 18 years. She has also performed with the Naples Philharmonic (Naples, FL), the Pennsylvania Ballet, Opera NJ, and the Philadelphia Opera Co.
