McCarter Theatre COVID Safety Measures

The following safety measures are in place for PSO performances held at McCarter Theatre Center:

Children (ages 5-17)

Youth tickets are available at a discounted rate compared to a full-price adult ticket. Please note: The term "fully vaccinated" means a patron has received either the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to a performance. 

Children (regardless of age) that are fully vaccinated must bring with them:

  • Vaccination Card (physical or picture of)
  • Photo ID (physical or picture of)
    • The photo ID can be a school ID or passport if they are too young to have a driver's license.
    • If they do not have a school ID or any other photo ID, then a birth certificate must be presented (physical or picture of)
  • A mask to be worn at all times while inside the building 

Children (regardless of age) who have not been fully vaccinated (including children that have received only one dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series) must bring with them:

  • Proof of a negative COVID test result (physical or picture of). Accepted tests include:
    • PCR test taken within 36 hours prior to performance OR
    • Antigen test taken within 6 hours prior to performance
  • Photo ID (physical or picture of)
    • The photo ID can be a school ID or passport if they are too young to have a driver's license.
    • If they do not have a school ID or any other photo ID, then a birth certificate must be presented (physical or picture of)
  • A mask to be worn at all times while inside the building

Adults (ages 18+)
