He was four years old. On a whim, Rosemary Nalden decided to give him a tiny violin and include him in the class, even though he was far younger than anyone else. His sister found the violin difficult, eventually left Buskaid, and is now a successful photographer, but Khotso soon began to show prodigious and precocious talent. Although far younger than anyone else in the Ensemble, he became a highly motivated member by the time he was 9. He is currently studying for a degree in Accounting Sciences whilst playing and teaching regularly at Buskaid. THOKOZANI RADEBE joined Buskaid in 2003 when he was 12. Thokozani plays in the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra on a regular basis, as well as the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra. He and Simiso Radebe are cousins. princetonsymphony.org/ 12'
