CULINARY CROSSROADS CUISINE - May 5
Join PSO Music Director Rossen Milanov for an inspired evening of international cuisine, expertly paired with live musical selections on the accordion and accompanied by a cooking demonstration in the Community Kitchen at Mrs. G Appliances. Mrs. G Appliances and Café Appliances generously host this delightful evening!

SOUTH AFRICAN BRAAI - September 9
Join us for a festive South African Braai hosted outdoors at the home of PSO Executive Director Marc Uys and Jacqui Kerrod. Authentic culinary delights will be provided by Marc Uys, Jacqui Kerrod, and Sue Cook, with award-winning wine contributed by Greg Olsen, proud owner of Olsen Private Vineyards in the renowned wine region of Paarl, South Africa.
What is a braai? A braai is a relaxed social tradition in South Africa of cooking meat and sides over an open flame, bringing family and friends together for a delicious meal and good company. (Think: Barbeque!)

JACQUELINE KERROD & FRIENDS AT UPDIKE FARM - September 16
Join us this September in the barn at the Historical Society of Princeton’s Updike Farmstead for a fabulous fall evening of great company and food, featuring performances by harpist Jacqueline Kerrod & Friends! Following cocktails, sit back and enjoy a multi-course, farm-to-table repast prepared by Chef José Cintron, with live music between courses.
About Jacqueline Kerrod:
Classically trained from the age of 9, South African harpist Jacqueline Kerrod has worked at the highest level in the classical, pop, free jazz, and improvised music worlds. Her debut solo record “17 Days In December” (2021) released on Orenda Records was noted as a best debut in 2021 by The New York City Jazz Record, and selected as an album to listen to by JazzIs Magazine (December 2021).
She has toured nationally and internationally with composer and multi-reedist Anthony Braxton, both in duo and as part of his ZIM music ensemble. Their live duo recording was released on Italian label I dischi di Angelica (2020). Most recently, she has begun a local series dedicated to improvised and experimental music hosted by Morpeth Contemporary art gallery in the heart of Hopewell, NJ. Guest artists have included the cream of the crop in the creative music/jazz/experimental scene: Ingrid Laubrock, Mariel Roberts, Joe Morris, Ken Filiano, Taylor Ho Bynum, Keir GoGwilt, Tomas Fujiwara, Elsa Nillson, Liam Elliot, and Jeff Snyder.
