In-School Visits

Strings at Cambridge School

PSO BRAVO! introduces students in grades 2-5 to the instruments of the orchestra via in-school presentations. Students learn about the history of the instrument families, musical concepts, composers, and orchestral repertoire. For some students, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra’s program is the first time they will hear live, classical music during the school year. The in-school visits culminate in a “School Day Concert” at Richardson Auditorium, where children can experience the sound of the full orchestra on stage with their classmates.
