Mendelssohn & Beethoven

Featuring Simone Porter
This event has passed.

The PSO performs its first classical concert of the season at McCarter's Matthews Theatre. Get ready for a breathtaking performance of Mendelssohn's beloved violin concerto by Simone Porter. The program also includes Jessie Montgomery's Banner, written in 2014 as a tribute to the 200th anniversary of "The Star Spangled Banner," and Beethoven's lighthearted fourth symphony written during his "middle period."
