Music From China

Chamber Concert
This event has passed.

In celebration of the Princeton University Art Museum’s exhibition The Eternal Feast: Banqueting in Chinese Art from the 10th to the 14th Century the Princeton Symphony Orchestra presented a concert of traditional Chinese music. Musicians performed on an erhu, a two-string bowed instrument, a pipa, a four-string plucked instrument, and a zheng, a type of zither with a more than 2,500-year history. Concert performances and a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception between concerts were available in the Museum's center galleries upstairs.
