Dvořák / Liebermann / Mazzoli

Featuring Chelsea Knox
This concert has passed

Chelsea Knox, principal flute of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and former principal flute of the PSO, returned as soloist in Lowell Liebermann’s melodic Concerto for Flute and Orchestra. Missy Mazzoli’s ethereal Sinfonia (for Orbiting Spheres) provided a glimpse of the infinite, and Dvořák’s joyful Eighth Symphony filled the hall with delightful, folkloric melodies.
