b'Community Engagement Community members enjoy PSO BRAVO! programs throughout the season, including lectures, chamber concerts, instrument petting zoos, and more, all offered free-of-charge.SoundtracksEnriching talks and presentations take place in partnership with the Princeton Public Library, offering opportunities for community members to learn directly from academics, enthusiasts, and artists. In March, Maestro Rossen Milanov shared his love of his home country of Bulgaria, detailing the customs of each region, performing Bulgarian songs with soprano Mariana Karpatova, and teaching the audience a traditional Bulgarian dance. Chamber Music ConcertsIn addition to performances for the general public at the Institute for Advanced Study and Trinity Church, small chamber ensembles also bring performances to local adult communities. Concerts this season included performances by Ensemble 132 and the Puget Sound Piano Trio, as well as an exploration of the music of the Indian subcontinent.Arts & Health Mercer The PSO began a new collaboration in 2023 with Arts & Health Mercer, a coalition of organizations raising awareness of the health benefits of the arts.
