b'JuneteenthThe PSO was proud to once again partner with the Municipality of Princeton and community organizations to recognize and commemorate Juneteenth.A Community Coming TogetherWorking together, the PSO and the Municipality of Princeton offered special activities, beginning with a Juneteenth flag raising ceremony. Local social justice, anti-racism, community, and cultural organizations came together to share Juneteenth history, resources, and crafts. Attendees stepped into a vintage phone booth-turned recording studio to take part in Voices of Princetons oral history project, recording reflections, thoughts, hopes, and dreams for a better America. Honoring Black Choral MusicCelebrations culminated in a concert featuring choirs drawn from area communities anchored by the Capital Singers of Trenton, conducted by Vinroy D. Brown, Jr. The program featured Robert Rays iconic Gospel Mass with additional choral selections highlighting the joy and spirit of Black music.princetonsymphony.org 29'
